Size

10 - 12 um in diameter

Cytoplasm

Scanty cytoplasm

Cytoplasm is weakly basophilic and stains pale blue

May have small numbers of azurophilic granules which contain lysosomal enzymes

Nucleus

Round or slightly indented

Chromatin

Condensed

Outline

Usually circular
